Why Do Exam Portals Require a Single PDF?
Many exam portals — particularly State PSCs, UPSC DAF, and some central government department portals — ask you to upload all your documents as a single combined PDF. This makes it easier for officials to review applications and reduces multiple upload errors.

- 10th Certificate and Marksheet
- 12th Marksheet and Certificate
- Graduation Degree / Provisional Certificate
- Caste Certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS)
- Domicile / Nativity Certificate
- PwD Certificate (if applicable)
- Experience / NOC Certificate (if required)

Compress Before Merging
If your combined PDF is too large for the portal's upload limit, compress each PDF individually using our PDF Compressor before merging. This keeps the final merged file small.
Unlock Aadhaar First
UIDAI Aadhaar PDFs are password-protected. PDF-lib (the library we use for merging) cannot process encrypted PDFs. Always unlock your Aadhaar PDF before trying to merge it.
Check Page Order Before Uploading
Open the merged PDF and flip through every page. Make sure all documents are there and in the correct order. A common mistake is uploading the merged PDF without checking — and discovering later that one certificate is missing or in the wrong position.
